BFRとは、アーニーボール･ミュージックマンがストックしている木材の中でも、特にハイグレードな木材だけを使用して、数量限定 で製作される特別なプロダクション･ラインのモデルです。トップ材のキルテッド(またはフレイム)･メイプル、ネックに使用されてい るバーズアイ･メイプルなど、その貴重な木材は、今後ますます入手が難しくなる状況にあります。このようなハイグレードなマテリアルを用いての製作は、今後、特に困難になると思われます。ミュージックマンの卓越したギター製作技術によって、さらにその付加価値が高められた貴重なモデルです。BFR LUKEは従来のLUKEモデルのスペックを基に、さらなる鳴りを追求したマホガニー･ト ーン･ブロック構造を持つ、メイプルトップ、アルダーバックの仕様となっています。
